Back at it AGAIN!!!---- OR the same,but different!!

 Once again, from the wilds of north-eastern Okie-land,it's the 'ol Loydster! Throwing up another blog---- with a MIGHTY helping hand from my buddy Jeff!! A loud and EXTRA-hearty shout-out to you, my most good and excellent compadre, for all your efforts in helping me put this 2nd effort at a 'presence' on the web together!!!

This time, gang.....it's a bit different! Like it says up above, this little bloggy-wing-a-ding-doodle-type-thang is pretty much going to be Mr. Loyd being his all-out regular 'ol goofy-geeky self!! I'm operating on the assumption here that at least SOME of you checking this out right now,may have followed / checked out my old blog,'Ferrell Central'---that's right, all 2 or 3 of you!! You KNOW who you are!!

Anyhoo, this here blog,folks.... is EXCLUSIVELY for just the FUN of it!!! Pure & simple!! My former blog got to be where it felt more and more like some kind of WEIRD homework assignment, OR-- God-forbid, some kind of JOB!!!---before I finally  shut the whole shebang down!! This time is NOT gonna be like THAT!!!

Just as a bit of a 'memory refresher' for those who were along for the ride last time, as well as the ones who may be joining me for the first time on this little on-going journey---- HERE are the things I'm absolutely GEEK-A-ZOID about!! Not to mention what to expect MANY future postings to cover!!!

First up, we have all the classic pop-culture stuff !! Yes, I'm still REALLY in touch with my 'inner 12 year-old'!!!

 Next, we have my absolute all-time favorite movies / movie-franchises /actors!! These are flicks I re-watch roughly every year or so!! Yep, they're ALL that GREAT!!!---

 Relating to the 'favorite actors' part of the above list, but--- in MY mind,at least-- in a unique spot all to himself---- is the one and ONLY 'Duke'!!! These are my all - time favorite movies staring big John Wayne!! There are others in my collection, but these are the ones I've watched OVER and OVER, 'til They've been practically memorized!!---

 AND---- Just what kind of classic pop culture geek would I be, if I didn't also absolutely LOVE,EAT,BREATHE and dream about ALL KINDS of music!! There are other artists I listen to now and then, but THESE folks are PERMANENTLY installed on the playlists in my various devices!! Quality, talent and yes over-all COOLNESS never goes out of style!!!---

 Christian music is a HUGE factor and influence on me---- and HAS been, throughout my entire life!! As with the above secular artists, the folks shown here are PERMANENTLY installed in all my devices!! Oh, and yes.....there ARE a couple of southern-gospel artists / quartet-style groups  mingled in there!! What can I say??? tight vocal harmony and 'singing with all your guts & heart' hit me right in the SOUL!!! I love what I love!!! No apologies!!---

That's my 'refresher-course' for this time around, gang!! As stated above, the blog this time around is all about the FUN and sometimes just plain GOOFINESS of  all the things that geek me out, interest me, or just make me laugh!!--- With maybe some family pics from various past vacations or just 'proud-dad' moments thrown-in here & there!!! Hey, it IS called 'Loyd Stuff',after all!!!

I plan on putting up a post at least every couple of weeks, or once a month. Depends on how I can CARVE-OUT the time!!! Working 40 hours a week, and just general 'family-dude'-type responsibilities make it TOUGH to promise any more than that!!! Anyway-yay, stop by and see what I'm up to now and then, won't you???
